presidency of the General Council of Education Explanation: General Council on Education is a North American term, and therefore possibly closer to home for a translation on Argentina. In European law, there is a "Directorate-General of Education" but European law terminology is very tainted by French law terms, so you may not want to use it. I have found the phrase "General Council of Education" in many sites referring to Puerto Rico, so maybe you'd like to use that one. On the other hand, these are the most likely sites to have been translated directly from Spanish. |

Office of the President, General Council on Education Explanation: Creo que en ingles, el titulo del consejo estaria dividido en estas dos partes, porque normalmente no se puede traducir "Presidencia" con una sola palabra (Presidency)porque suena como fuera la presidencia del pais. Asi que podrias decir "provides support and guidance to the Office of the President, General Council on Education." o algo asi. |

Head of the General Council of Education Explanation: Como tenés que referirte a alquien que aconseja, prefiero poner, por ej, advisor to the Head ... que va a sonar mejor que la Presidencia, sin cambiar para nada el significado |

Chairmanship / Presidency of the General Education Board Explanation: "General education board" es lo que me ocurre para la traducción. “Presidency” es probablemente más Americano.
