Ar to saprot karsētu vai nekarseetu folijas uzklāšanu. Folija reāli ir metāla vai kāda cita materiāla plēve. Visi "zeltīti' vai citi spīdīgi burti uz apsveikuma kartītēm (arī vizaam, domaajams) tiek uzspiesti ar hot foiling mashiinām.
