I like Maboumra's "Unlike its competitors,..." and would suugest that you might like to turn the sentence round altogther and start with that bit.

"de par sa volonté" just means that the company has made it a matter of policy to handle this aspect this way : "wilful intention", "policy" whatever, the chocie is yours !

disagree  df49f (X): faux-sens: Co. X does not willfully make access difficult etc..., its policy to supply finished products (as opposed to competitors who don't supply finished prod.) is what's making it difficult for new entrants...

  -> yes...wilfully by its practice of supplying finished goods..it is a key market decision to ensure its greater client penetration and stature to create key alliance partnerships. It is very wilful, it is not casual.
