Bin mir unsicher bei der Übersetzung des folgenden Satzes:
"These strategies are implemented using derivatives, convertible bonds or even through taking directional positions using options." Würde so übersetzen: "Diese Strategien basieren auf dem Einsatz von Derivativen und Wandelanleihen, aber auch - beim Einsatz von Optionen - auf dem Erwerb gegenläufiger Positionen". Was meint ihr? Bin irgendwie unsicher ... Freue mich auf eure Anregungen/Verbesserungsvorschläge/Zustimmungen ... - whatever!

"Diese Strategien werden über Derivate bzw. Wandelanleihen, oder auch mittels auf eine bestimmte Marktrichtung ausgelegte Optionspositionen umgesetzt."

Hintergrund: Mit Optionen kann man sowohl auf eine bestimmte Marktrichtung ausgelegte Positionen aufbauen (z.B. Long Call oder Long Put, aber auch vertikale Spreads wie Bull Call/Bear Put Spread) - oder aber auch marktneutrale Positionen wie Straddles oder Strangles.

Explanation:
I don't read that as taking "contrary" positions but rather taking positions that bet on a particular movement (up OR down) in the market/security (whatever), i.e. going long or short, buying/selling calls and puts. Actually, "der Einsatz von Puts und Calls" is how I read it.
