I am translating employees' responses to a questionnaire and the hardest thing about it is the poor grammar and spelling in the responses. I would appreciate any suggestion with regard to the following phrase between asterisks.

COMMUNICATION EST LA BASE DE LA COOPERATION QUI ENGENDRE UN TRAVAIL D'EQUIPE *HORS IL NE
MANQUE UN PEU DE TOUT CELA*
I'm especially confused by "hors," maybe "or"?

it marks a break with what comes before...

example: bla blah blah...now, what I think is that etc etc.
