Sounds a bit like it's a confirmation that the co. is willing to "participate" in this CD thingy - maybe it's some kind of shared service - the CD includes advertising for >1 co.?

Letter of p. gets some googles, some in conjunction with P.O. (those w/out seem to mainly refer to "participating" in a course). "Confirmation of participation" might be an alternative...?
