アルプラズラム、グリチロン、プラルスコポラミン ???????, Glycyrrhizin Extract, Scopolamine Butylbromide Explanation: Can't seem to find much about アルプラズラム, but given that the other two are an obscure brand name for an extract and what appears to be a mis-typed name for another extract, you could try playing around with it (Googling for only parts of it etc.) and see if anything turns up. Anyway, グリチロン would appear to be a medicine designed to protect the liver, and also to fight allergies, which is based on the plant extract glycyrrhizin, which comes from licorice: http://www.interq.or.jp/ox/dwm/se/se39/se3919100.html. Unfortunately, a fairly long search didn't appear to turn up much in the way of suggestions for brand names for it (maybe because it is more of an 'alternative' medicine in the West). There is one example, a medicine called Bio Rizin, but it looks fairly obscure: http://tinyurl.com/9fpsy Therefore, unless it is essential to mention a brand name, it might be safer to translate グリチロン as something like "Glycyrrhizin Extract". プラルスコポラミン does not turn up, but there is another medicine called ブチルスコポラミン: http://www.okusuri110.com/dwm/sen/sen12/sen1242002.html It seems fairly likely that this could be a mistake. 臭化ブチルスコポラミン (Scopolamine Butylbromide) is used to treat upset stomachs. http://www.msf.org/source/refbooks/msf_docs/en/Catalog/D/ORA... Hope this helps, Oli |

アルプラズラム、グリチロン、プラルスコポラミン グリチロン = "Glycyron " Explanation: according to http://www.e-pharma.jp/dirbook/contents/data/prt/3919100F108... The other 2 terms get zero Google hits - maybe you could check the spelling with the client? -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 8 hrs 20 mins (2005-10-04 00:14:45 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- アルプラズラム = 「アルプラゾラム」の入力ミス = "Alprazolam" See http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=alprazolam concomitant&... http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&c2coff=1&q=アルプラゾラム al... And I think ollinc-san is correct in saying that プラルスコポラミン is a typo for ブチルスコポラミン, but I would simply put this as one word "Butylscopolamine". See http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&c2coff=1&q="butylscop... |
