時中評価 Typo for 事中評価 Explanation: Sorry - I posted another answer thinking that 時中評価 might be short for 四六時中評価 ("constant/around-the clock evaluation") but this must be a typo for 事中評価. References to 事中評価 seem to be linked to 事前評価 and 事後評価. The simplest way to refer to these would probably be along the lines of: 事前評価 - Preliminary evaluation (pre-evaluation) 事中評価 - intermediate evaluation 事後評価 - Final evaluation (post-evaluation) although I found 事後評価 referred to as "ex-post evaluation" at http://64.233.167.104/search?q=cache:HdgxMXBUTUwJ:www.idcj.o... D2 事後評価 (ex-post evaluation) These seem to refer to the 3 main evaluation periods that take place during the school year. They may vary from prefecture to prefecture (or even school to school). One example I found (listed with the erroneous 時中評価) was a Junior High School in Hachinohe, Aomori, which has its pre-evalution in mid-May, intermediate evaluation in mid-October, and post-evaluation in early February.
