He also coordinates all train movement responsibilities between connecting divisions for the dispatcher concerned.


Cam astea sunt sarcinile impiegaţilor şi pe la noi, sau erau. Cred că studiul e făcut pe lucrătorii în domeniul feroviar. Acum pot să stea liniştiţi impiegaţii, cum au fost disponibilizaţi, nu trebuie să-şi mai facă griji pentru sănătate :))

Everest dă şi "traffic manager" la calea ferată. Asta ţi s-ar potrivi dacă crezi că e ceva mai general. Din descrierea pe care mi-a dat-o soacră-mea eu înclin spre "terminal operator", e foarte apropiată. Train dispatcher şi train manager mi se pare că-ş ceva şefi mai mari :)) oricum să-i zici la impiegat manager e cam exagerat :))

Uite asa vezi cat de "slab" e dictionarul tehnic roman>englez (editura tehnica, editia 2001). Acolo e dat ca "service official" - foarte vag, nu-i asa?

Citez din linkul al doilea: "The train operates from one block station to another under authority of the train-movement operator or station agent. The two types of block operations used are positive and permissive." Deci merge si "train-movement operator", primul la care m-am si gandit, de altfel
