German term or phrase: Indirektrinnenleuchten
Vielen Dank

English translation:indirect lighting built into a recess of the facade
Explanation:

Architectural Lighting:
Lighting fixtures that are incorporated into the building facade, such as accent lighting, downlighting, valance lighting, luminous ceilings, or track or fluorescent lighting that is built into a recess or projection of the façade.

Tippfehler?

Explanation:
Also eine indirekte Innenbeleuchtung?
Vielleicht kannst du dir dann eher vorstellen, wie sowas aussieht.
Gruss

Never mind, Irene. I thought exactly along the same lines, but then I discovered that these lights are on the outside. Appreciate your help. Thanks a lot

neutral  Cilian O'Tuama: nice thinking, but it's for the facade, and a facade wouldn't have Innenbeleuchtung

-> Oops, you're right! Just never heard of a "Rinnenbeleuchtung" in German so I immediately thought of a typo. Sorry, my mistake.

Indirekte Beleuchtung eben.

agree  Cilian O'Tuama: would make sense, though never heard the term
