Une autre idée : "animation du foetus" ou même "quickening" que l'on trouve en anglais dans un certain nombre de sites Internet français (même un du Canada, où l'on est pourtant toujours enclin à franciser les termes anglais !).
Vous pourriez donc à mon avis le laisser en anglais sans problème, d'autant qu'il est suivi de sa définition !

Dégourdissement est utilisé au Quebec. En français de France/Belgique, je crois que l\'on dirait simplement \"sentir les mouvements du foetus\". Tout dépend de la langue cible.
