No sé si se use en todas partes, pero una persona "borrego" es alguien que se deja llevar por lo que hacen todos los demás.
Y digo todos, porque no se trata de imitar a alguien, sino de dejarse llevar por la multitud, como los lemmings que en ciertos años abundan tanto que llegan al "suicidio colectivo", es decir, viajan juntos y si se encuentran con el mar, todos siguen avanzando, ninguno piensa si se va a ahogar. Creo que de eso se trata.
Así puede conservarse la analogía con el lemming.
