Lots of protein for Norwegian athletes. Feb 8, 2018

I find the image funny, they will just return the eggs and that's it.

150,000 Feb 8, 2018

Actually, if you read the Norwegian newspaper article, it was 150,000 eggs.

GT strikes again.

Good thing it wasn't 150 000 cows....That would have been a real translation error

If they emptied the entire Olympic village, they couldn't fit those 150k cows. Or maybe yes?

Questions Feb 9, 2018

1. Why not just write the inquiry in English (assuming the Norwegians know it well enough to do so)? Odds are the Koreans would have been able to understand it (or that massive army of expat English teachers in the country has apparently been wasting their time for the past couple decades...).
2. No order confirmation process from the supplier side for a supposed order of that size? Obviously they are not ISO-certified! That would never fly on an audit.

Not sure ... Feb 9, 2018

... I'd like to eat the surplus eggs after that chef's been sitting on them and plonking his big clumpy shoes down on them.

Due to another GT error, the Koreans actually delivered 1,500,000 rubber love eggs specifically designed for the Nordic bottom.

That said, real eggs are stronger than you'd think:

Tough eggs Feb 9, 2018

Interesting video! So the ones he's sitting on won't break, but if he sits there long enough they might hatch.

Anyway, I just had to try it out here. - Watch this! I told my wife as I jumped on to a carton of them. - No, really, nothing to worry about, you'll see. Splurrrrrrtch. Guess who's in the dog house?

Although, I must end by saying that I think it's disgraceful to read all this naughty sex stuff on the forums. Always the same people, too.

Sorry Mervyn Feb 9, 2018

Oops, didn’t realise I’d linked to a sex video. I just Googled standing on eggs* and forgot the golden rule that every second clip online is pure unadulterated filth.

*Either I’m on my phone and not punctuating or I'm literally standing on a dozen eggs as I type. Or both. You decide.

Anyway, must go. Off to watch a pawn film with my chess partner.

Well, good luck with that film ... Feb 9, 2018

... it might be a matter of a bishop being bashed while a knight takes a sly peep at it all around his L corner. And queens ... well, they do whatever they want, dear. Wouldn't like to speculate on the rook and the king ...

1. New one for me. Good you provided the link.
2. I think (hope) a real live linguist would have questioned the number of eggs.
3. I would have expected better from the Norwegians.

Norway won a record number of medals at PyeongChang 2018

So, perhaps a case of the goose that laid the golden egg... or 1500/15000/150000 of them...
