Hi,
I was asked to create a sticker in French that could be applied to the English packaging of a product to make it understandable to French speakers. The client is asking to meet government requirements for the translation. I am unfamiliar with the legislation and did not know there were specific requirements on translations. Can anyone advise? Thank you!
Alexandra

Search for "bilingual labelling requirements" in advanced Google search, with gc.ca as domain name. It probably depends on the product.

Your best bet is to have the client, not the crowd here, provide you with those requirements. After all, the client is the one you must satisfy, not the crowd here.
