Hi Everyone

I'm Laura and i'm currently enrolled in the MA of audiovisual translation in Roehampton, London.

So far i'm a bit disappointed with it, as we don't have as many hours of classes as i hoped (only 6 per week), and not too much guidance. We have a long list of stuff to read, and i can't really put them into the context of audiovisual translation, i don't understand why i'm doing this.

As i'm paying with my personal saving, i feel like it's a waste

As i'm paying with my personal saving, i feel like it's a waste of money as i'm not happy. London is very expensive, and as i haven't spent all my money yet i'm really considering dropping out before i'm broke and really disappointed.

I'm not quite happy in London in general, and my masters is not as "inspirational" as i thought. Would it be a mistake to drop?

I was thinking applying for the surrey MA next year instead as i see more hours of class and a more complete set of subjects (and a less expensive town to live in)
Has anyone done it? Could you tell me how it's like?

thanks a lot for your help guys
Have a good day

Laura
