Possible Dragon NS + trojan alert

I'm posting this just in case anyone else is having the same experience as me. Yesterday, when I tried to start up Dragon, my anti-virus (Avast) issued a threat alert - apparently it is recognising the Dragon NS .exe file as malware. My tech guy is on holiday but he says it could be a Trojan attacking the system via some component or other ( my knowledge of these things is quite limited). The anti-virus then places the offending file in "quarantine" and the Dragon program won't work. Eventually ... See more

The funny thing is the same thing happened last night on my laptop and I wasn't even using Dragon at the time, just listening to BBC iplayer, so it seems as if something is definitely going on there.

I would be interested to hear from anyone else having similar issues with DNS.
