Hello all! I am using Dragon Naturally Speaking Version 10 Spanish. It works wonderfully for about three hours, and then it stops transcribing as if there was something interrupting the voice recognition. In the transcription box, the software starts transcribing just a few words and then it stats adding question marks "????". There has been no background sound changes in my office to disturb it. Hello all! I am using Dragon Naturally Speaking Version 10 Spanish. It works wonderfully for about three hours, and then it stops transcribing as if there was something interrupting the voice recognition. I tried saving the user's files, restarting the program, and even restarting my PC, but nothing works. If I start using it the day afterwards, it works for about three hours again, perfectly, and then the problem arises once more.

Any suggestions as how to solve this issue?

Kind regards,

Karina

Hi,

I know that this answer is very out of date, but I just finished dealing with this exact same problem. After taking my computer to a computer specialist (who was also fortunately my friend), I was told that since DNS is a "command giving" program; the order you open programs on your computer is very important. I was told to ALWAYS open Dragon Naturally Speaking first and then use it to open all other programs -- and to get a faster processor. In my friends words, "Dragon has to be the head hancho; if it's not then it starts making mischief." Now several weeks later after having followed his advice, I no longer have any trouble with the program.

Hope this helps!
