Word no muestra imágenes de páginas web

Word 2007 no me muestra las imágenes de las páginas web que copio y pego en el documento Word. En su lugar aparece un recuadro con el texto : No se puede mostrar la imagen vinculada

Tengo deseleccionada la casilla Mostrar marcadores de imagen, en Propiedades Avanzadas.

He tenido un problema similar. Si copio y pego imágenes (.jpg) en Word, quedan invisibles. Pero si guardo el mismo documento en PDF, los imágenes aparecen. Resulta un poco engorroso, pero menos follón que buscar soluciones en la red.
