Note sure about the length Jun 5, 2019

Apparently, the longer your post is, the less likely it's going to be collapsed.

This is what I thought at first. But I'm not sure now:

Check Thomas's post at 17:28: not collapsed.
Check Thomas's post at 17:56: it is a shorter post and it's collapsed.

Hi Folks

To disable/enable the "See more/Collapse" applied to forum posts go to the Forum settings. https://www.proz.com/dashboard/forum/
In the Forum settings, there is a section called "Collapsed mode" to specify whether or not to expand long forum posts

Best regards,

Evelio

Time spent for nothing Jun 6, 2019

The See more [is sometimes] cutting off only the final word of a post or being introduced mid-word, and ask yourself if that really is the experience you want for your members.

before

after

Also, I've seen that if the "See more" split is in the middle of an HTML tag, the partial tag becomes visible.

Annoying Jun 6, 2019

I'd like to add my voice to those who find this feature unwelcome and annoying. So far, I don't see anyone jumping in to say how much they love and appreciate this change. : )
