When I open the following thread
http://www.proz.com/topic/25876

in Firefox, I see oly part of the text. The table row stretches far to the right. When I open it in IE, all is well.
Is this a glich in the coding? Most other forums work well in Mozilla too.
Regards
Heinrich

Long link Oct 22, 2004

Hi Heinrich,
I also see this topic streched to the right (Mozilla) and the reason for this is the link given in one of the posts - it's a series of characters without breaks, that's why it takes a whole, looong line. I guess in IE the link is broken, so not helpful, either.

To avoid such situations it's always better to give a clickable link using html (url=) (/url), etc, in square brackets. Otherwise the post is streched out in Mozilla and in IE - the link is broken.

Forced wrap of long lines in forum posts Oct 23, 2004

Hi Heinrich and Magda,

I have made a change that causes long lines in forum posts to be wrapped to prevent stretching the page out too wide.

Thanks for the report.

Regards,

Jason

Forced wrap only for new posts? Nov 12, 2004

To Jason: with existing posts containing long URLS - e.g.
http://www.proz.com/kudoz/863115 - there is still no wraparound in Mozilla or Firefox.

Sorry, but it doesn't work for new questions either. Just found a new one at http://www.proz.com/kudoz/863783 which still suffers from the same probl
