Under My Proz.com there is a tab for Forums, which lists the threads in which the concerned member has played a part, either as the initiator or as s subsequent poster. It is quite a useful feature. The only catch is that old entries seem to vanish as new ones come on. Can you please put a button for viewing older threads too and this till one reaches the first thread in which one has figured as stated above? TIA, N.Raghavan

reviewing forum participation

Yes, I agree that it would be nice to be able to find all forum participation, all the way back to the first time. It would be a great help. Thanks.

How does one search the forums for something specific, such as all messages relating to MS-Word macros?

Just use the "Search" facility
Sep 21, 2003
I tried entering "MS-Word macros" in Search but it only brought up your own posting. However, "Word macros" brought up a list of eight postings on the subject. As with Google, you may have to try several variants of your requirement before you get the answer you want.

I don't think so, Harry
Sep 21, 2003
I used to believe so, but it works only if in the body of the message there is the name. If you always sign your posts, it should work.

You are right, sorry.
Nevertheless the FORUMS tab shows the correct number of postings, so you know how many you cannot see

That is precisely why I raised the query in the first place
Sep 21, 2003
The number of postings mentioned against my name, presently 210, cannot all be accommodated in one page. I understand that but I was just suggesting a separate button for viewing more.
