I received this error message upon verifying tagged RTF files (which I did not create) with S-Tag Verifier for FrameMaker:
\"The file could not be verified. Verification Error 2140. This file was created by a more recent version of TRADOS.\"
I use Trados 5.5 with the lastest cumulative patch installed. Any idea?
Thanks!
Vincent

...indeed, this is the explanation:
When you add support for Framemaker 7.0 with the \"Trados enhancement\" scheme, you actually upgrade STF version to 3.02... meaning your colleagues who still use the regular Trados 5.5 will be unable to check the tags in your files using the S-Tag Verifier for Framemaker originally provided, which supports STF version only up to 3.01.

S-Tagger for FrameMaker 7
Jan 21, 2003
Hello,
there is a new version of S-Tagger, which can handle FrameMaker 7 files.
Maybe you should contact the trados support.
With kind regards
Hans
