Studio 2019 sdlxliff file names do not mention source and target language codes

Hi

A colleague in our team pretranslates the documents to be translated by the team members in SDL Trados 2019. Since last week, the sdlxliff files that she forwards us no longer mention the source and target language codes in the filenames. Has anyone else experienced this? We think but we need to test this more thoroughly that the segments in such sdxliffs are not imported in the main translation memory (although the operation is successful). A colleague in our team pretranslates the documents to be translated by the team members in SDL Trados 2019. Since last week, the sdlxliff files that she forwards us no longer mention the source and target language codes in the filenames. Has anyone else experienced this? We think but we need to test this more thoroughly that the segments in such sdxliffs are not imported in the main translation memory (although the operation is successful). Anyway, is there a way of deliberately preventing the source and target language codes from appearing in the sdlxliff filenames?

Hi there,
Most probably, this is caused by using different workflows. There are two of them: one is called 'Studio Project', and it never adds any language codes; another one is 'Single File Project' (a simplified workflow with some limitations, the one you invoke with the 'Translate Single Document' command), and it does add language codes when saving as sdlxliff.
