it seems like everything is working.

Hello,
I use Studio rarely but recently got a Studio 2015 license for use with a single client.

I installed it on my laptop (Win7) and it worked fine.

However, the laptop has a hardware problem, now am trying to install on my desktop (also Win7) and though the install goes fine there's an error preventing it from opening files.

I have tried:

Uninstalling and reinstalling Studio
Updating Windows

Can anyone suggest a fix? Many thanks.

Could not load file or assembly `Sdl.DesktopEditor.Control.dll' or one of its dependencies. is not a valid Win32 application. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800700C1)
