Trados 2017: How to ON "overwrite existing translation unit when сonfirming a translation (ctrl+enter)"?

When I change an existing translation I want not to add new translation unit in TM, but to replace the existing one.

I can't find it in Options...

As far as I know, if you are editing an existing translation the changes will automatically overwrite the old translation.

It is when you are doing a new project that this won't necessarily happen. So for an existing project you should not need the option.

The opposite problem Feb 6, 2019

I have the opposite problem I want sometimes to add the second transaltion, but TM units are only rewritten in my SDL 2017. Is there a quick way to do this?
