Passolo 2011: Reuse statistics prior to translation
Thread poster: langu2

Hi

Is there any way to get statistics of the potential reuse rate of existing resources (strings... coming from various sources, e.g. translation memories, termbases, machine translation providers...) prior to the actual translation so that I can roughly estimate how much time a project will need?

Thanks a lot for your help!

No, such a feature is not available. Please note the differences in the wording.

The feature in Passolo is called Statistics. It is counting and classifying words.

A feature that is giving you the potential reuse rate is comparable to the Analysis feature in Trados Studio and won’t be called Statistics.
