Hello,

I am sure many of you already know this little program that periodically pops up to remind us to make physical exercises when sitting in front of our PC:

I discovered it by chance yesterday and I think it is amazing. Perhaps there are other free tools like this on the Internet that provide even more hints for our health? Please share, if you know them.

Kind regards

Time out Jul 20, 2007

Hi Mario,

For Macintosh only:
http://www.dejal.com/

It is called "Time Out".

I tried ExerciseMinder on my laptop (PC), but found it only works when you're online. Pity!

I am surprised you didn't get more reactions to your post. Don't translators use this kind of software? Are they all on Dragon (speech recognition)?

Kind regards,
Hester

Oh, frankly I didn't realize this, although there is no problem if you have ADSL. I will try yours as soon as Leopard comes out this fall.

Translators are not all equal; I know some that suffer no RSI problems whatsoever despite many years sitting all day in front of a screen. However I suppose that even those on Dragon will have to exercise their arms, legs and shoulder somehow.

Kind regards
