Does anybody have experience in working with OmegaT CAT tool in Right-to-Left language?

Does it work in RTL languages? If it does, are there any specific problems?

in the Yahoo! group of OmegaT, browse the archives. Since I do not deal with RTL languages, I can’t remember, what was the outcome of the discussion.

There is also a chapter in the OmegaT user manual on working with RTL and bidi languages.

Globally, it works.
The Arabic version of OmegaT has been translated using OmegaT. There are some issues on the bidirectional functions, notably with tags, which make it less efficient than with LTR languages, but it is usable.

There is currently on-going work to improve RTL support.
