Poor standards of localisation

I believe a good translator can handle a wide variety of topics. It seems that localisation is done by IT professionals rather than the linguists and that's the reason for poor linguistic standards of Polish localisation. Ideally, IT experts should work alongside translators or they should proof-read one another. Failing that I believe translators should be doing localisation rather than IT experts. The technical people are by and large not known for their linguistic flair. What are your thought... See more
