Hello,

Wouldn't it be fairer if the display order of entries rotated during the voting?
Obviously entries which are at the top of the screen have more chance of being read and therefore it increases their chances of winning. And it seems to me that the display order is determined solely by the time of submission.
A random shuffling every hour or so seems yo be a good solution.
What do you think ?

Clément.

On this (qualification) phase, being at the top indeed increases chances of the entries at the top for qualification, but also it increases their chances of disqualification.

I do agree - especially in language pairs with a large number of entries, it's quite likely that the ones towards the bottom will not be read at all or read only partially.

I'd like to take this opportunity to remind you that some language pairs are still accepting entries and others are waiting for your vote. If you haven't done so yet, please visit the contest page http://www.proz.com/contests and participate either by voting or entering the competition.

See you there.

Best regards
Romina
