More winners of the 1st Annual ProZ.com Translation Contest: Awakening are now being announced on the contest page.

Other pairs will close as the required number of votes is received and the winners will be announced then.

winners of previous translation contests have lovely blue ribbons on their profiles. Are winners this time roound going to get a ribbon too?

Contest winners' recognition in profiles. Jan 6, 2009

Hi Adele,

First, congratulations! In the past winners' profile recognition (i.e. the blue ribbon and the certificate linked to the profile) was shown once the contest had officially finished in all pairs. Voting is still open in some pairs so the contest has not finished officially.

Both the draw among contest winners to award prizes and contest winners' profile recognition will take place after voting closes in all pairs.

I was not aware of those policies and I think they are pretty sensible.
