A language pair needs at least 3 entries to participate.If my pair gets only two( mine+ another one) does it mean I' ll have worked for noyhing?

Tres faciunt collegium. Is that not enough? You will be the first three anyhow, more to follow.

Firstly, colleagues will make comment on your translation, which helps you to improve. Secondly, you will study the other entries very intensively to compare and to learn, which would never happen if you did not participate.

Under an old English law, I believe that three people gathered in a public place officially constitutes a riot, entitling the authorities to "read the Riot Act" to them, ordering them to disperse.
If you enjoy the challenge of translating the contest text, do it anyway. Others may yet put in an entry, who knows?
