SMTP defaults to TCP port 25 and POP3 defaults to port 110.

My company is using access lists to block SMTP and POP3 traffic ostensibly for virus control reasons. However several other ports are available. I have worked around this problem by configuring different or additional ports (such as port 2211 or 8100) which my company is not blocking.

With proz.com hosting, is it possible to configure the mail settings to listen on nonstandard ports?

(For a Microsoft Exchange server, for instance, it is possible to configure the SMTP and POP3 server protocols to listen on 25/110 as well as any number of additional ports).
