Typing Username and Password everytime in Outlook XP

Does anyone know why I keep having to type my username and password for the mail.mydomain.com everytime Outlook XP is checking for new emails? I've already checked my accounts, they work properly. And I've also ticked the box that say Remind username and password.
Also... when I receive messages in Outlook XP (Pop3), I believe my e-mail storage limit remains at 100Mb, is that right?

How about your Windows session?
Apr 12, 2005
I once had a similar problem long ago, I finally found out that it was caused by the fact that I was entering Windows clicking on "Escape" instead of entering a session. It didn't store passwords outside a session. Are your other emails and passwords (on websites for instance) stored?

Only mail.mydomain.com (Proz server) requires me to type username and password.

I start Windows logging into my session, not clicking on Escape. However, you're right, the websites I visit keep emails but not passwords.
However, I have other accounts set up on Outlook XP, and they all work properly, without my having to type username and password everytime I check for new messages. Only the mail.mydomain.com (Proz server) demands that I type the password and username everytime?!?
