Domain redirect

Hello all!

I saw this at the proz.com hosting systems, there is a provision for domain redirecting, what does this exactly mean. Or what happens in the reality? I appreaciate all help.

Hi Brandis,

The redirect feature allows you to have one URL at your site redirect to another URL. This is often used when you rename a file, so that visitors to the old URL can be automatically redirected to the new filename instead of seeing a "Page not found" error.

The redirect feature allows you to have one URL at your site redirect to another URL. This is often used when you rename a file, so that visitors to the old URL can be automatically redirected to the new filename instead of seeing a "Page not found" error.

You can also redirect to a completely different site. For example, if your domain was example.com, you could make the URL http://example.com/profile redirect to your ProZ.com profile page.
