When will the \"edit gloss\" feature be reinstated? I really miss it. I\'m itching to make some changes !

Even when you ask the asker or answerer to please correct the spelling of a glossary entry, it usually doesn\'t get done.

Mods feature Dec 17, 2002

Hi Trudy,

I\'m not sure whether this is a deliberate move or just a glitch, but the \'edit gloss\' function is currently still available to moderators. So if there entries that are annoying you, contact a mod with a link to the page and they will do what they can.

I don\'t know whether the plan is to reinstate the feature for non-moderators.

FWIW

Hi Mary, Dec 17, 2002

I\'m no sure, either. I have seen it on rare occasions. I hope the disappearance is not deliberate. Why should we have to bother the mods if we know what we\'re doing?

The right to 'edit glossary' will be extended Dec 29, 2002

Currently, the right to enter/edit glossary entries is given to:

- the asker

- the answerer

- site staff and moderators (after 2 weeks)

We will extend this functionality to members who meet certain criteria, namely, paying membership, more than 100 kudoz points, and confirmed accreditation in the pair in question.

Thanks for the topic.

Hi Henry,

Any particular reason why only for paying members? I\'m just curious. I for one was always able to edit glossary entries in the past, without being a paying member then either.

Edit glossary Jan 27, 2003

In December Henry announced a change in this affair but till now, one month later, nothing has happened. It´s really annoying.

Greetings

Karlo

A lot of other things don´t work either.

For instance I don´t receive any job postings.
