Hi guys,
I tried to upload a new image in my profile, unsuccessfully. I tried with other images (all within the allotted pixel limit), same results. Now I am even unable to restore the old one...
Is there any way to fix this?
Thank you.

happened to me... Dec 2, 2006

The same thing happened to me a few weeks ago.

I finally submitted a support ticket, mailed the photo to the staff member, and she uploaded for me ... Not sure about the source of the problem.

I know!
Probably they were just trying to prevent you from removing your pretty smile. (The puppy is cute, but I am ready to sign a petition for restoring your previous image!)
I my case, I suspect that they are afraid I might upload a picture of mine!

I've had the same problem today... Dec 2, 2006

Do "they" read these forum postings or would it be quicker to submit a "ticket"? I thought it was something I was doing wrong when trying to upload.

Ciao Rachel, hi everybody,

I am sure they (Santa Henry and his Elfs) read or will read this forum...maybe after the weekend... and somebody will answer and give us an explanation.
I will wait until Monday to submit a support ticket.

PS. Thank you for your comforting support Steffi! Nice picture!

Thanks Tuliparola Dec 3, 2006

Dear Tuliparola: You're really sweet giving us --the FACELESS-- such comfort. I hope some day to have a face...

You know? When I was a child, I had one (not big deal), but I could do a lot of things with it. For example, I could go to the corner store and ask for cigarretes, saying to the owner I had the right age for buying tobacco, just to receive in response: "With THAT face...!!??"

Now that I can buy cigarrettes, how in heavens can I go anywhere to buy anything if I'm faceless!!??

A decent individual always needs a face, no doubt.

To my faceless colleagues Dec 4, 2006

Hi guys,

The Elfs must be very busy...or too busy to look at the forums and answer here (it's almost Christmas after all!).
I am submitting a support ticket with the link to this forum.
Good luck to us all!

See you later (hopefully)

Moved the topic Dec 4, 2006

Hi all,

Sorry to hear about the upload problems. But in order the elfs (or is it elves?) to notice and respond, this should be in the correct forum. ('General technical issues' is not necessarily related to site problems.) Therefore, I have moved the topic to 'Proz.com bugs' forum.

Good luck!
