New feature?? New topic notification...

Since a few days, I received notifications about new topics in the Italian forum (so far). Not only one, but two or even three times I am notified about the same new topic.

I am not aware there is any possibility to choose these notifications (I verified in order to uncheck it, if possible).

Am I the only one experiencing this strange "feature"?

Please open Italian forum and check Sep 27, 2006

Dear Christel, Please open Italian forum and see if in the upper right corner "This Forum" email tracking" is checked. If it is and you do not want to receive notifications, please uncheck it.

Thank you Uldis. But how could it be, as it is a NEW topic and I didn't even know of it just before I got the notification?

Please check again Sep 28, 2006

Please open the page

http://www.proz.com/forum/26

and see again in the upper right corner "This Forum" email tracking", because it is possible to receive notifications on all new threads/postings, if the email tracking option on this page is checked.

If it indeed isn't, it must be a bug.

I now unchecked it twice, but it still gets back checked, so of course I continue to receive new topics notifications....:-(
