I am not sure. I save most of my earnings, but I have never given any actual thought as to when I'll retire.

On the other hand, if I earn a very large sum (=millions) out of the blue, I don't see myself working for too long. The only way this is going to happen though is if my dad wins the lottery and gives me a nice share, so...

I will surely retire when I'm entitled to (65), both by the government's social security and by the private pension plan I have. I've paid them for over 20 years, and I'll pay for another 15 years, so I have that right. But there is no way that means I'll stop working. The only difference is I'll receive a pension from then on. I'll continue working regularly for as long as I'm able. I'm tired of seeing people retire, get depressed, get lonely, get bored... and die. That's not what I want for me... See more
