Coma maybe, but not when hospitalized | Jan 4, 2017 |
Even when I was in the hospital I managed to deliver my work on time. I worked on a laptop--forbidden at the time--when no one was looking. Once I accepted a job shortly after eye surgery. I thought I could see, but it turned out I couldn't, so I returned the job the next day saying I had overestimated what I was able to do. It was a good client, but they took me off their list and I never heard from them again.
Very sorry to hear your news. Please accept my condolences!

I said coma. If I were merely in the hospital I would bring the laptop and schedule around whatever my affliction may be. If I'm not able to get the work done I will turn it down. I'm ready for a lot of whatiffers to tear that one apart.

What a dreadful start to 2017 for you. I don't suppose anything can make the loss easier to bear, but I hope that the authorities and your clients don't add to your pain. Just about everyone on Fuerteventura is ill at the moment. I don't know whether it's wave after wave of tourists bringing in bugs or the string of Calimas sending dust from the Sahara into our lungs. Pneumonia, bronchitis or simply "constipado" as the locals say when they're congested - we're all suffering to some... See more What a dreadful start to 2017 for you.
