If only Fawlty Towers were back in vogue! I bet Terry Gilliam would make a wonderful theater or movie adaptation of the main pro-Brexit politicos (yes, one of them escaped from a Saturday morning cartoon from the 60s —remember Boris and Natasha in “Rocky and Bullwinkle”?).

Since I'm no European living in Great Britain, I can't say how my living or the exchange rates will affect my livelihood (now that's a nice English word —why do we have to insist on pauperizing our speech

All this Brexit thing is quite a sight to behold from the other side of the Atlantic, and we have our own crazy politicos to deal with in an election year: Hillary or The Donald? And a long etcetera.

I might learn more about the European sentiments once I arrive in Aveiro in a few weeks (Portugal).

I don't see why it would Aug 10, 2016

Right now I'm translating a document that involves France and the Far East. Last week there were several small documents for end clients in Canada for purposes of gaining citizenship, changing jobs, higher education, all within this country. Actually I can't remember that many translations recently that involve the UK. For colleagues with language combinations not involving English I can imagine this would be even more rare.
