on some computers, namely in offices and net cafes, i have difficulties in launching omegat from the batch file. i believe it is due to protection implemented in those computers. is there any workaround for this problem? thanks in advance.

Java path
Aug 8, 2007
I've always used my system Java with OmegaT and never the JRE that comes with the JRE version of OmegaT.
Does the .bat file give the full path to Java rather than just:
java -jar OmegaT.jar %*
Can you type:
java -version
or:
\full-path-to-java\java -version
and see which Java you have installed? (I've only ever done this on Linux.)
If you are still having problems I suggest you try asking on:... See more
