Hi,
I have encountered a problem that I can't handle on my own.
I have some big txt file to translate in which every line was created in this style, example:

Hi,
I have encountered a problem that I can't handle on my own.
I have some big txt file to translate in which every line was created in this style, example:

8850f0a3141d8f94f8292b4e8c014a84;e3e8d91e-7956-4ce9-87b3-c77aa3870759;I was there, but didn't found anything interesting.

Using rules or other tools, it is possible to hide first 70 characters (everything up to ";")? I tried searching in user Guide, but some parts like Regular expressions are a black magic for me.

Sorry for asking, but can I ask for your help?

I don't know, but if nobody replies here, please ask on the Yahoo list, where most of the developers are to be found: https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/OmegaT/conversations/messages

No need to apologize for asking a question!

Regex is also wizardry to me, but I think this is the one you're looking for:
[ 0 - 9 a - f - ; ] { 7 0 } (spaces added to prevent emoticons)

70 chars omegat

If you add it as a segmentation rule, it'll put those characters in separate segments, but you'll still be able to touch them. I also experimented with using the regex string in the "Tag Processing" settings dialog, and I was able to get OmegaT to regard those 70 characters as a custom tag, which means that if you do tag checking afterwards, and you accidentally broke one, it'll show up as an error. There is an option to hide text from the translation using regex, but I don't know how it works.
