can I build a TMX file from a CSV or Excel file? (I use Omegat)

Hi,

I was given a bilingual Excel file - one column has the FR, the other the EN.

Can I build a TMX file from this Excel file? How?

(I use OmegaT as my CAT)

Farkas, I don't think you even noticed that I said I don't have Studio.

So my question remains.

I don't think you have even noticed that none of the solutions offered in the article linked in the other thread require Studio. So my response remains.

Thanks Samuel! I used Farkas software (align), it's great!

I cannot believe I solved two major techie problems this week...

With a thread title like this:

align 2 excel files 1:1 (1 column each only) ~ SDL Trado Studio 2011 ~

it's so hard to see where I would get the idea that it has to do with Studio...

Anyways, it worked.
