Dear OmegaT users !

I hope I can find here somebody who can help me with this software.
I have already downloaded OmegaT and I'm trying to test it at the moment.
I tried to prepare a test translation project.
I have translated a short text and saved it.
So there should be now the translation memory (whit the text pairs I have translated).
When I had started a new project I thought the TM will works but nothing happens...

What do I wrong ?
How should I use the TM. How can I check if the TM works.

My another question is how can I prepare a new glossary and put it into OmegaT.

I know there are many answers on forum, but thats too much for me.

I hope somebody can help me Please...

Regards
Karolina

So you have now a first project, e.g., Test.
So there should be now the translation memory (whit the text pairs I have translated).

Yes, inside the Test project.
When I had started a new project I thought the TM will works but nothing happens

As it is a new project (e.g., New), its TM is empty.
How should I use the TM.

Either, in the new project, you use the TM from the Test project, or you do not create a new project, but you put the new text in the source memory of the existing project.
How can I check if the TM works.

If there are very similar sentences in the new text, you should see the matches in the Fuzzy Matches pane. You can also do a search in the translation memory.
My another question is how can I prepare a new glossary and put it into OmegaT.

That's described in the (English) manual, under the Glossaries topic (press F1).
I know there are many answers on forum, but thats too much for me.

I suggest you read first OmegaT for beginners.

You should also subscribe to the Yahoo user group.
