Hi all,

Is there a way to get a breakdown of the amount of fuzzy matches to TM, and by % match, using OmegaT?

Look in your project's omegat folder Sep 4, 2009

and go to "project stats"
I think that will give you what you want. If there's a better answer, the more expert folks will tell you.

No. OmegaT does not have an analysis feature in the sense that you can determine beforehand how many matches there are for certain match categories (assuming 85-99%, 75-84%, etc).

However, OmegaT does perform an automatic analysis of sorts (though not by match category), which is located in the file yourproject/omegat/project_stats.txt.

Keep in mind that if you analyse a text against a blank TM in other CAT tools, you typically won't get a breakdown of fuzzy match categories either. So what you get (if you have a blank TM) is the same in OmegaT as in other CAT tools. It is only if you want to analyse a text against a TM that OmegaT falls short of the mark.
