Hi! I have to talk to my daughter's class (ages 9-10) about what being a translator is like. Last parent who did it was a pilot so it's really hard to follow that. Do any of you know about a fun short video or cartoon, something that talks about a translator's job in a way a 10-year-old can understand?
Thank you for your help!

A blog I enjoy, Musings from an Overworked Translator, has "Wordless Wednesdays" where she posts some sort of meme, cartoon, picture, etc. dealing with translation.
Maybe you can go through her blog and find something suitable!

The kids just love Mox books (the first and the second equally), as there is clear and funny visualisation of what the translator does in everyday life: http://mox.ingenierotraductor.com/
