This chart gives the ratio of forest areas to the total area for different countries of the world. The ratio ranges from 0 % to 88 %, which means 88 % of the land is forest in that particular country. Some of you may find the chart interesting. I did.

I wonder if it can be true that Russia has only 29 % forest. What do they count as forest? The taiga in Russia alone must be more area than the whole of China or the US.

Heinrich, you misread the table. Russia is 29th on the list, with 50%.
