Hi

Just wanted to share this with you, it's our beloved site back in March 2000

i.e. about ten years ago. It looks very simple but not too different, or is it?

And here's the direct link for it:

Of course, this was done with the help of web.archive.org

Choices were less, contents were simple and was easy to operate. Rather it was a knowledge base site. Now, Proz is pro-professionals so the change is inevitable. Therefore, I will say that proz.com is moving with the time, keeping pace with future.

And also, it is a universal rule that only constant thing in this world is CHANGE.

While searching for my language terms on the net, I visited proz.com first in 2003 accidentally and I registered quickly. It was love at first site.

But there were not many people from my native language, Marathi on this site. Hardly, I used to get answers on Kudoz to my urgent queries. So I used to post queries in my national language for some terms. But sometimes, I used to feel that Kudoz answer that I am getting is not the exact word that I want to use in my translation service.

Also, just because there are no two agree comments on the Kudoz that I answered, I did not get Kudoz points in my language pair (These Kudoz questions are still open).

Meanwhile, I wrote articles about proz on the net.

Now, after 7 years, I see that more and more people from my community are joining proz. Hope someday, Kudoz question in my language pair will have 10+ answers from different translators.

Looking forward to that day and wishing proz.com the best.
