I'm planning to go on vacation to Paris, and I was wondering if any of you could share his/her experience visiting Paris and especially regarding the hotels over there...

Many years ago, I went to Paris and stayed at the Ibis Bastille. It was a new hotel (might not be that new now), very clean and very well located. It was also a cheap hotel with a good value for money.

5 years ago I stayed at Hotel Rivoli in Rue de Rivoli. It was a 3 stars, very clean and very traditional. Other good hotels in Rue Mouffetard (near Notre Dame). There are many hotels also one or two of international chains, I don't remember which one.

Have a good stay in Paris, a beautiful city.
